Happy Asian woman holding two Christmas gifts.

Being in the beauty business exposes you to plenty of exciting new things, which is why a beauty influencer’s Christmas wish list can be so interesting. Has all that insider information (i.e. tea) made them jaded and wishing for simple beauty gifts? Or has it made them even more excited about getting the latest products, gadgets, and procedures? We asked beauty content creators what they want for Christmas and, frankly, we are “influenced.”

Beauty Gifts-to-Self

Who says you need somebody else to get you items on your Christmas wish list? Content creator and former beauty editor Nicole Arcano has already started shopping for hers.

“I'm not used to receiving gifts for the holidays, and when I want something, I just buy it for myself. I just got a bunch of products from Merit Beauty during the Black Friday sale. Their approach to makeup is something that really resonates with me.”

She adds, “For non-beauty things, I'm eyeing one of the Nespresso Vertuo Pop machines and an Aeroccino to match so I can level up my coffee game. A handheld massage gun is also in my cart right now, and I think it'll make such a great gift for the people on your list who are also aging!”

Pretty, Pretty Things

If you’re wondering what to get your beauty-obsessed friend, you can’t go wrong with makeup. Anything that you can’t buy from local stores or e-comm sites will be a huge hit. Case in point, an eyeshadow palette from Gucci’s beauty line and The Line Up from Westman Atelier – which are all on influencer BiancaMascenon’s Christmas wish list.

“I know it’s most practical to ask for practical gifts, but I like putting the most impractical ones on my Christmas list – things I don’t necessarily need and would probably never justify buying for myself. I think receiving these things helps bring the magic back to the holidays. I’ve wanted these two things for a good year, and I’d sure be happy if someone did for me!” Bianca says.

Well-Deserved Me-Time

PR maven and “beauty girl” Romina Nanagas is always on, and so for the holidays she just wants to, well, log out! “I want a whole month I can escape and lose myself in and do nothing,” she says.

Alone time is beneficial for people who lead very busy lives. It allows you to let your guard down and be less self-conscious, and gives you time to . If you’re lucky enough to get this time-out, make the experience a pampering one! Sneak in an “everything shower” and nourish your locks with Dove Advanced Keratin Treatment Mask. It has Keratin Shield Complex that repairs hair and prevents further damage from styling.

Beauty Without Judgement

A brand-new year is coming, and it’s high time we embrace different kinds of beauty – including the different ways to achieve them! It’s a well-known fact that some people are blessed with features that are – so what if those who aren’t choose to get a little help from science?

Content creator and former beauty brand manager Nicole Tejano says, “I just wish people get to freely do whatever they want in terms of beauty without judgement, whether that’s buying more makeup than usual or getting that much-needed Botox!” Say it louder!

Managing editor Patti Sunio shares this vibe: “An intangible Christmas wish would be for the Philippine beauty community to continue to flourish, in support of each other. No mean girls!”

But being a certified makeup and skincare enthusiast, she won’t say no to geeky beauty treatments. “I'd love to get a voucher that treats me to an experience I can learn from. For example, a stylist who can recommend a good hair color and cut, an in-depth color analysis, a skincare treatment, a lifestyle and fitness plan from a nutritionist, or even an executive checkup!” she shares.

A Confident Smile

Beauty editor MarbbieTagabucba has noticed some changes in her smile because of teeth grinding, and she’s got the ultimate solution on her Christmas wish list. “I want my smile back for Christmas. I’m getting veneers!” she says.

Dental veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that cover the front of the teeth to improve their appearance. It’s a cosmetic device that can help address discoloration, chips, crookedness, and aps. There are two types of veneers: porcelain and resin-based composites. According to the American Dental Association, the former is more expensive but lasts more than 20 years, while the latter is affordable and easier to fix, but more likely to chip. Choose one that suits your needs and budget!

A Fresh Face

Let’s be honest, everyone wants to and youthful. It’s one of the top items on every beauty enthusiast’s Christmas wish list! For beauty blogger Gretchen Gatan-Fragada, it’s treatments that tighten and rejuvenate the skin.

“For Christmas, I really want a session of Ulthera or something similar. I’m turning 35 soon and I want to invest in these types of procedures to keep my skin looking fresh. It’s so expensive but I hear you only need to do it once or twice a year,” she shares.

It’s true! The effects of one session of this treatment, which uses high-frequency ultrasound, peak six months later and can last up to two years. Talk to your dermatologist about the best treatments for your skin’s needs and make sure to go to certified clinics.

Complement your treatments with an at-home regimen that nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Use Dove Facial Cleansing Mousse Brightening Care with 40% Active-boost Serum that leaves your skin radiant and hydrated for up to 24 hours. After cleansing, apply POND'S Age Miracle Double Action Serum with Niacinamide and Prebiotic Complex to reduce the appearance of fine lines and plump the skin.

The Gift of Self-Discovery

Content creator and editor Justin Convento is a self-confessed “simple but maarte beauty girlie.” Given this information, her Christmas wish list may surprise you. While she does still want a Dyson Airwrap and vouchers for face tightening and contouring procedures, she is also into mindful beauty.

“It has been a year of intention for me. I’ve gotten so much more intentional with my time and with what I put my energy into. My beauty, skincare, and hair care routines have all followed suit, and I realized that pouring into these buckets of self-care (as cliché as it sounds) really fills up my cup!”

Justin adds, “So, for Christmas, I wish for everyone to begin to embrace intentional living and seek what makes them feel good about themselves. It’s not about splurging on the most expensive item or buying a trending makeup product that will likely only be used a couple of times. It’s about learning what works for you. Beauty is about , self-mastery, and self-awareness – and leaning into what sets you apart and celebrating that!”

Take it from these beauty enthusiasts, there’s no shame in dreaming of makeup, skin care, and facial treatments! Whatever’s on your Christmas wish list, we hope it empowers you and makes you feel more confident to embrace the year ahead.
